ZTE to Launch the World’s First Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 855 Smartphone with F2FS File System in May 2019

23 April 2019, Shenzhen, China - ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, today announced that ZTE Axon 10 Pro, the world’s first Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 855 flagship smartphone that adopts F2FS file system, will be available in Europe and China in May 2019. Engineered with Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 855 Mobile Platform, ZTE Axon 10 Pro performed excellently in the MEM (memory and storage) test, over 150% higher than other models, according to AnTuTu Benchmark. Backed up with F2FS file system, ZTE Axon 10 Pro adopts the intelligent anti-fragmentation mechanism to effectively solve the freezing problem of Android smartphones. Compared with the traditional EXT4 file format, F2FS file system can provide a 15% faster file reading speed, 20% higher storage performance, 200% faster operating speed as well as a significantly improved 4k file reading/writing speed. In addition, ZTE Axon 10 Pro utilizes a liquid cooling technology and composite phase-change thermal materials, allowing the CPU to operate at high frequency points for a long time, thereby effectively guaranteeing the strong performance of the ZTE Axon 10 Pro. As ZTE’s first 5G flagship smartphone, ZTE Axon10 Pro 5G debuted at MWC2019 on February 25, 2019. ZTE has been actively collaborating with leading partners to accelerate the 5G commercialization. To date, ZTE has conducted 5G device field tests with major operators in 8 countries around the world, including Austria, China, Finland and Spain.
