ZTE AXON mini Premium Edition With Unique Pressure-Sensitive Screen Available for Purchase via AliExpress

8 December 2015, China - The ZTE AXON mini (Premium Edition) is now available worldwide for preorder via AliExpress in a number of markets. Starting at 00:00 Pacific Standard Time on December 10th, buyers can get their AXON mini at the exceptional price of 299 USD for 24 hours only, thanks to a special AliExpress discount!

The AXON mini first launched in July 2015. The AXON mini (Premium Edition) is the world’s first smartphone to deliver a pressure-sensitive touch screen that recognizes different levels of touch pressure for enhanced functions and experience. This innovative technology allows users to access app shortcut menus with a more pressured touch, weigh items with a scale app accurate to 1 gram, and add security with a “3D” password using firmer touch for complexity.

The AXON mini’s pressure-sensitive screen also unlocks a wealth of possibilities for a more interactive entertainment experience. Different pressures can vary volume intensity for a piano app. A firmer touch can accelerate faster in a racing game. Both users and developers will enjoy playing with this new, deeper dimension of touch and its more immersive experience.

With a body made from Boeing 787 aircraft-grade aluminum-titanium alloy, the AXON mini has both a premium look and feel. At just 70mm wide, the AXON mini’s 0.85mm thin bezels allow the device to feature a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED FHD 2.5D curved-edge screen. It sports a 13 megapixel camera on the back with a focus time of just 0.1 seconds, and its dual microphones are supported by an AKM4961 Hi-Fi audio chipset. These features are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor and 3GB RAM. Its 32GB ROM allows for expansion up to 128GB with an SD card. The device can be unlocked with three different biometric authentication options – fingerprint, voice control, and eye-scan.

ZTE has partnered with AliExpress to sell a number of its innovative devices in markets across the globe such as Blade S6 etc.
