CTIA, USTelecom, NCTA, ACA and WISPA todayfiled a joint intervenors briefwith the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals in the case of Mozilla Corporation v. Federal Communications Commission.

The following statement is for attribution to CTIA, USTelecom, NCTA, ACA and WISPA:

“We believe the FCC’s Restoring Internet Freedom Order correctly classified broadband as an information service and lawfully preempted state and local regulation of broadband. Broadband providers are united in protecting the open internet for all consumers. Congress should ultimately resolve this issue with a national framework to enshrine the open internet principles we all support.”
