Vodafone partners with Cisco to launch enterprise-grade broadband and WiFi solution for small and medium-sized businesses

United Kingdom: Vodafone has partnered with Cisco to launch ‘Complete Connectivity’, a new broadband and WiFi solution powered by Cisco Meraki. Designed for small and medium businesses (10 – 250 employees), it offers reliable and secure broadband connectivity across sites, with advanced security features to ensure SMEs have everything required to stay connected, secure and in complete control.

Complete Connectivity is designed to provide simple-to-manage, enterprise-grade hardware and software to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) without the need for in-house expertise to operate it. Industry-leading advanced security features such as Advanced Malware Protection, Intrusion Prevention and Content Filtering also come as standard.

Complete Connectivity also has a built-in mobile backup system which kicks in seamlessly should you lose connectivity to ensure your internet connection isn’t disrupted.

The Federation of Small Business estimates 10,000 hacking attempts are made every day on small businesses and their users. With the rise in remote working, these cyber-attacks are more prevalent than ever. This means SMEs need to prioritise best-in-class security when considering their broadband needs.

Starting at £70 a month on a three-year term, per site, customers have access to:

Vodafone Superfast Fibre Broadband offering speeds of up to 76Mbps to your business premises. Built-in mobile backup – should your broadband go down, the connection will automatically and seamlessly switch to Vodafone’s 4G mobile network. Cisco Meraki security solutions complete with market-leading, advanced security features to keep your employees, customers and business safe. Cisco Meraki’s intuitive cloud-first platform, providing enhanced WiFi and analytics so you can monitor and troubleshoot networks and devices from anywhere. Automatic and continuous updates from world-leading security researchers to ensure you have optimal protection against new and emerging cyber threats. Through integration with the Cisco Meraki platform, SMEs can also add on additional Cisco or Meraki technologies to provide enhanced customer experiences and help scale their WiFi and physical security requirements as needed, across multiple sites. This includes Cisco Meraki’s WiFi 6-enabled Wireless Access Points, providing businesses with enhanced connectivity and coverage where they need it most, and Cisco Meraki MV smart cameras, which help address emerging and future physical security needs with data-rich analytics such as motion heat maps.

Andrew Stevens, Vodafone’s UK Head of Small Business, said: “Our small business customers are constantly telling us how much they rely on a secure and reliable broadband connection to conduct business effectively. That’s why we’re delighted to be launching this new solution with Cisco which enables business customers to easily run a reliable, secure, futureproof and truly scalable broadband and WiFi service in an affordable way without any significant, one-off costs.

“With the number of sophisticated cyber-attacks on SMEs increasing daily, having secure and reliable access to the internet has never been more critical. Falling victim to an online attack can be both financially and reputationally damaging for SMEs, so it’s crucial businesses now have access to a professional-grade service, which provides rich insights and is easy to manage.”

Aine Rogers, Head of Small Business, Cisco UK & Ireland added: “Over 99% of businesses in the UK are SMEs, and the last year has shown us that even when out of necessity, connected technologies have a vital role to play in supporting businesses of all shapes and sizes. With Vodafone, we’re excited to be helping provide secure connectivity to support the ambitions of those driving the UK economy, whether in the way they work, collaborate with their teams or connect with their customers.”
