Verizon expects an intensification of demands from consumers with 5G

Verizon is expecting to see an acceleration and an intensification of demands from consumers with the arrival of 5G, surpassing the levels of mass consumerisation that started with the iPhone. Therefore, the levels of service that CSPs are going to have to provide and the range of solutions and platforms are going to increase, to match the bigger, stronger demands from consumers and from enterprise customers. However, it won’t be any easy transition from 4G to 5G, as CSPs look to build out software defined and cloud-native networks, and the winners will be those CSPs who get in earlier with their partners and help build the new networks and businesses.
