Whilst engineers and researchers have been working on 5G technologies for a number of years, it is only now that many telcos and enterprises are beginning to look at 5G and develop strategies to position themselves to be in the vanguard of the promised new services and opportunities.

TelecomTV’s recent survey on 5G found that although respondents are convinced that the 5G technologies are powerful and potentially useful enough to generate new applications and use cases, as well as energise old ones – they are just not exactly sure what these will be.

This interactive session will present the latest thinking on 5G, show the potential for new services and revenue growth, and caution on where the potential challenges and difficulties lie. We will discuss the results of the survey and present options on how – and when – to best to engage with 5G, the partnerships required, and suggest the best strategies for success.
