SDN/NFV transformation is the biggest thing to hit the global telecoms and networking industry since the Internet itself and speed is its essence. The specification process itself has been completed in just three years, proofs of concept have been offered, and trials undertaken. And the speed doesn’t stop there. Once adopted SDN/NFV will speed Service Providers to new service adoptions via agile development and it will create speedy and responsive relationships with end customers who in turn can enjoy speedier times to market for their services and applications.
