Vodafone Netherlands Teams With IBM to Help Enterprise Clients Go Mobile

AMSTERDAM and ARMONK, NY - 16 Dec 2015: Vodafone Netherlands today announced it will collaborate with IBM (NYSE: IBM) to offer IBM MobileFirst solutions to Vodafone’s enterprise clients. The IBM MobileFirst portfolio is designed to securely deliver services that allow clients to fully exploit mobile capabilities, thereby furthering their business.

IBM MobileFirst for iOS Expert Seller App Equips Salespeople with Mobile Access to Product and Services Information

As a worldwide leader in Enterprise communication services, Vodafone is widely recognized as an innovator and driver of communication technology. IBM MobileFirst will extend Vodafone Ready Business, which includes communications solutions aimed at helping businesses become more flexible, innovative, collaborative and responsive to their customers and employees. The IBM and Vodafone collaboration will help further drive mobile adoption among enterprise organizations in the Netherlands.

IBM MobileFirst solutions including infrastructure, apps and services that allow business clients to create mobile solutions that enable them to reach new markets and improve customer engagement.

Vodafone itself is mobilizing its workforce with an enterprise app to better serve clients, equipping corporate account managers with iPads loaded with the IBM MobileFirst for iOS Expert Seller app to give them mobile access to everything they need to know about Vodafone’s product portfolio before they go in to a client meeting.

Vodafone corporate account managers sell enterprise clients Vodafone’s extensive portfolio of products, ranging from mobile point-of-sale terminals to networking systems. The IBM MobileFirst for iOS app that will help these employees better prepare for effective client discussions, allowing them to exceed customer expectations.

The Expert Seller app retrieves the most up-to-date content from Vodafone’s databases, including the most recent information in Vodafone’s product portfolio, as well as Vodafone’s sales and marketing collateral -- organized and saved on the iPad for fast access. The app enables account managers to efficiently prepare for customer meetings and present and share relevant content with clients directly from the iPad, saving time and driving more interactive and engaging sales discussions.
