Ooredoo announces its intent to delist Ooredoo GDR from the London Stock Exchange

Doha, Qatar, May 29 2017: Ooredoo Q.S.P.C. (“Ooredoo”) – Ticker: ORDS today announced it has requested the UK Listing Authority to cancel the listing and admission to trading of Ooredoo GDR (SEDOL: BCCVPG5; ISIN number: US6834202029) on the London Stock Exchange with effect from the opening of the market on 31st August 2017.

The decision is primarily due to the ease with which international investors are now able to purchase Ooredoo securities on the Qatar Exchange.

Ooredoo GDR was admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange on the 19th of July 1999. The shares of Ooredoo will remain listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.
