Monitor Computer Systems continues to expand deployments of Dialogic Diva Media Boards for extensive protocol decoding

Parsippany, NJ (May 15, 2017) - Dialogic , a cloud-optimized applications and infrastructure solutions provider for service providers, enterprises, and developers, announced today that , Monitor Computer Systems, a premier supplier of alarm monitoring systems to the UK market and abroad, and a long standing customer of Dialogic, has reached a significant milestone in its deployments of its Sentinel innovative alarm monitoring system that uses Dialogic® Diva® Media Boards to decode protocols for its alarm signals and field dial-up calls from hand held or body-worn devices.

More than 40% of Monitor Computer Systems customers find the combination of Sentinel alarm receiving software and Dialogic Diva boards to be a reliable and flexible platform for their needs. The ability to receive, decode, and transfer data and voice calls is of particular importance. The Diva cards provide analogue and ISDN interfaces to achieve these objectives.

The Diva Media Boards are flexible platforms for the implementation of communication solutions. Diva Boards offer many standard APIs (COM port, CAPI, TTY, WAN Miniport) and will work “out of the box” with most existing communication applications.

“We continue to deploy the Dialogic Diva Boards because they can decode all of the protocols we require. We couldn’t find that in any other solution in the market. The Diva boards also are well-supported, world-leading platforms,” said Michael Askew, Managing Director of Monitor Computer Systems. “Our solution is being used by some of the largest security companies in the UK and Ireland, and it saves them a great deal of money because of the scalability and call density it offers.”

“Our Diva products are extremely flexible and cost-effective for implementing communication solutions. The products are some of our most diverse in functionality and most flexible in deployment. As we continue to innovate and improve our Diva Media Boards, we expect to see continued deployment, especially in IoT solutions and in replacement of other companies’ end-of-life modems,” said Jim Machi, SVP of Product Management and Marketing.
