Dialogic infrastructure solutions and applications help Israeli MVNO improve reliability and simplify management of prepaid subscribers

Parsippany, NJ (May 11, 2017) - Dialogic, a cloud-optimized applications and infrastructure solutions provider for service providers, enterprises, and developers, announced today that 019 Telzar, a top Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) in Israel, has deployed the Dialogic® PowerNova ™ Application Server (AS) and expanded its Dialogic ® ControlSwitch ™ System intelligent call control platform to include Gateway Mobile Switching Center (GMSC) function in order to support its rapid subscriber growth from its aggressive pre-paid subscriber expansion campaign.

Telzar has used the PowerNova AS flexible service creation capabilities to deploy a real-time charging control application with reduced operational complexity compared to its legacy platform. It has also expanded its current ControlSwitch System to replace an existing GMSC, allowing it better management of its underlying carriers and providing critical carrier grade functions including Geo-Redundancy and service availability of the services delivered to its growing base of subscribers.

The PowerNova ™ Service Creation Environment that’s integrated with the PowerNova AS allowed Dialogic and Telzar to rapidly design and implement the new charging control application that replaced Telzar’s legacy CAMEL-based platform. The charge control application provides session control and supervision, billing mediation, and account balance management critical in preventing revenue loss on prepaid accounts. The ControlSwitch System expansion was in addition to its current complement of Dialogic solutions that includes the Dialogic® BorderNet ™ 4000 Session Border Controller and I-Gate ® 4000 EDGE and PRO Media Gateways. The expansion not only supported the key functionality to allow Telzar to seamlessly provide service to its customers regardless of the underlying Mobile Network Operator (MNO), but also enabled improved network resiliency without additional operational overhead.
