Integrated video API development environment simplifies creation of video communications applications

Prague, Czech Republic (May 23, 2017) - Dialogic , a cloud-optimized applications and infrastructure solutions provider for service providers, enterprises, and developers, and Telestax ® , The Restcomm ™ Company, today demonstrated their integrated Restcomm Video API solution during a joint session at Restconn® 2017 . Based on Dialogic® PowerMedia® XMS media server software, the integrated video API simplifies the creation of video communications applications for developers across a range of industries and markets.

As featured during the Restconn 2017 event, the integrated Video API demonstration was shown to the community of Restcomm developers and executives. The live demonstration walked developers through the process of creating a multi-party conferencing application, including recording and playback of video sessions.

“As a result of months-long collaboration, application developers can now use the powerful Telestax Restcomm mark-up language or visual Call Flow Designer to initiate video playback, recording, and multi-party conferencing sessions,” said Jean Deruelle, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Telestax. “Powered by Dialogic PowerMedia XMS, the new Video API makes developing video applications very similar to voice applications, automatically managing video media processing.”
