Michele D'Agostino, Wind River (00:06):
We are here today because we would like to show all some of the AI capabilities that we have built in by design into our product, which is a private cloud, which is carrier grade and has been deployed worldwide at scale. So more specifically, what we are showing today in a demo that is in our booth is an AI assistant, which leverages agentic ai and specific agents that we have developed so that we can access information from the infrastructure and from the workloads. And what this allows users to do is to interact with our product and with the systems which are managed by our product by using natural language. So basically they can converse with the system in English and get responses on the information that they're asking, but also they're getting recommendation as to how to monitor, to manage and to optimize the infrastructure. And we are showing some examples as to what they can do.

(01:00):
So for example, they can look at alarms or certificates that are about to expire. And what the system does is that it gives a lot of information about these certificates and procedures to rectify the issue. So why are we doing this? We are doing this. So there is a long list of benefits, but if I can think about the two main ones, at least from my perspective, I would say the first one is the fact that you can save a lot of operational expenditures because it's much cheaper and faster to manage and optimize the infrastructure by using this AI assistant. But secondly, in my view, it also accelerates go-to market of our solution. And what I mean by that is that new users who have to get accustomed with this type of technology will do it in a much faster way because we know how complex the technology that our platform leverages are. So with this AI assistant, a new user gets up to speed much faster than before.

Nico Marziliano, Wind River (01:59):
We have seen intense day talking about AI and how AI can announce our capability in the space of operating, working into the NETOs, but also increasing and benefiting in our daily life. We do believe that our platform is definitely improving the network quality, the network efficiency, the network utilization, but also improving a lot the way the people interact and works with the networks, which is in our opinion is not only an opex, capex typical discussion of saving, but it is also an improving of quality of life of our people that are working in the networks. There are a lot of debating these days, a lot of opinion, different interpretation. It's good that there are different way of seeing that you may start implementing with a very basic use case. Someone say No, it has to be a return on investment. Someone say no, it has to be cost efficiency. Someone say it's about revenue generation.

(02:55):
Our opinion is that no matter which angle you start, you better start as always is a great event with telecom TV all the time. The conversation are always enriched by the participation of the people. A lot of people, again, this event, a lot of different opinion as I said before, which for me it's healthy for the industry because a me too conversation or oh I tend to agree, doesn't enrich the conversation and the industry, different opinion brings different alternative and options. So it is great. So very good. And for Wind River, it's a great event too.

Michele D'Agostino, Wind River (03:31):
It's amazing attendance and for me of course we would like to showcase what we are doing, but we are also all learning. Although AI is not new, but we are doing more and more and more. But it's great to see what's happening in the ecosystem to make sure that we not only are aligned with what's happening in the rest of the industry, but also that we collaborate with our partners and all the new so that we enhance what we have within our solution.
