Keith Day, Director of Mobility Marketing, Cisco
Cisco has developed a combined carrier wi-fi and small cell device that is telco-independent and therefore can be sold through traditional enterprise channels. This separates the installation and deployment of cells with the provision of the mobile service. For a service provider, it solves the challenge of how to access the mass market of enterprises. In this sector, telcos don't tend to have strong direct relationships, hence the need for a new partner-driven model to reach this business.
