Eric Debeau, Head of Network Automation Platform Team, Orange

Telcos need to be engaged in key open source networking projects to influence their requirements. But just how difficult is this for telcos, especially those without the resources of Tier One operators? What can they learn from the early movers, such as Orange, which has been a strong and early supporter of ONAP, as well as a major contributor. Orange is also involved in numerous other open source projects (such as OPNFV, OpenDaylight, OpenStack, etc), but what is the common link between them and how does it ensure that they all contribute to Orange’s strategy?
