Bob Monkman, Intel, and Klaus Martiny, Deutsche Telekom
Telco NFV can be seen as a prototype of a collaboration process that the industry will increasingly come to rely upon in the coming years, as CSPs continue their transformation into digital service providers and leverage emerging cloud-based technologies. There is also an increasing influence from outside of the traditional telecoms development community, especially from cloud service providers, which supports a move to broaden the existing ecosystem to encourage greater technology collaboration and innovation. All of this points to a need for better collaboration between telecoms standards work and the open source communities.
Featuring
Bob Monkman, Director, Networking Open Source Strategist, Intel
Klaus Martiny, Senior Programme Manager, Deutsche Telekom
