The MEF has published a new whitepaper on “Carrier Ethernet and NFV”, looking at the use of CE2.0 as a foundation for the delivery on new NFV services. It looks at the different types of delivery models for virtual network functions and services that are available to service providers and considers the various approaches and trade-offs for service demarcation equipment at the customer premises. Its editors discuss the paper and the level of industry adoption of NFV today.
