Cheng Choon Si

VP, Technology, Strategy & Transformation, Singtel

Biography 

Cheng Choon joined Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel) in 1991 and played a leading role in the planning, delivery and operations of the mobile networks in Singapore and Australia (Optus). With experience accumulated since the days of analogy (1G) mobile networks, Cheng Choon has vast experience in managing the change as technology evolves, he is now leading the network transformation and digitalisation of Singtel in the new 5G era. Cheng Choon has also participated in several overseas projects and headed different engineering divisions within Singtel over different periods of time. Cheng Choon holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) from the National University of Singapore.

Head of Products and Production Services, Telia Company

Biography 

With 35 years’ experience in the Telecommunications industry, Ida heads up the production-team within Telia IT, responsible for fulfilment, service assurance and network planning, engineering and operations. Ida drives Telia’s transformation and consolidation program to reduce complexity and drive product harmonization in the six countries where Telia is operating.

Seda Dolen

Head of BSS Sales (Sales Readiness and Sales Support) Ericsson

Biography 

Seda leads Ericsson’s Digital BSS sales and sales readiness where she is responsible for providing global sales and commercial support for Digital BSS Engagements, defining and driving Go-To-Market strategies for BSS Offerings, building sales strategy and securing sales execution across the regions. Seda brings with her 20 years of experience in the ICT industry across Business Development, Solution Portfolio Development, Presales Management, leading the teams delivering BSS&OSS transformation engagements.

Mark Newman

Chief Analyst, TM Forum

Biography 

Mark has 25 years of experience delivering insights on the future of the telecoms sector to senior-level executives and audiences. His recent research has focused on telco business models, digital transformation, service provider diversification, and the intersection between internet and telecoms. Mark delivers analysis, presentations, strategy sessions and workshops to global audiences, helping them address change as technology and disruptive business models fundamentally transform their businesses. He was Chief Research Officer at Informa Telecoms & Media and Ovum before leaving to set up his own research firm, ConnectivityX, in 2016. He joined the Forum in February 2017.
