London, September 1, 2015 --- The Railway Engineering Company Ltd. ("TRE") today announced the change of its corporate name to Hitachi Information Control Systems Europe Ltd. ("Hitachi Information Control Systems Europe"). To expand traffic management and information control systems business, the new organisation brings together the products and experience of TRE with advanced traffic management and information control products from Hitachi, Ltd. and reinforced the company structure by integrating engineers of related organisations. Hitachi Information Control Systems Europe continues to deliver from the Bradford on Avon HQ, as well as offices in Plymouth and a newly-opened traffic management system integration centre in Derby in July, 2015. The company provides simulators, modelling and automatic route setting systems as well as supply, integration and support services for the traffic management systems. Hitachi Information Control Systems Europe is working closely with Hitachi Rail Europe Ltd. on a traffic management contract for Thameslink. The senior executive team at Hitachi Information Control Systems Europe is Tim Gray, who is appointed at Managing Director, and Andy Lumby who becomes Chief Operating Officer. Executive Chairman is Susumu Hasegawa.
