Intel Labs demo

Intel has created a "Smart Shelf" concept that addresses problems experienced by shoppers and ways to engage better with them, providing them with more valuable services. The demo uses Intel's Real Sense technology and camera to provide real-time object recognition and then display appropriate content, which in turn is linked to stock sensors. For this example, a customer could select a bottle of wine and the solution would then suggest food to go with it and tell the customer where to find the ingredients in the shop.In-store data is accessible to shop staff via web browsers and wearables.
