Stream announce LoRaWAN Network Server capability on its IoT-X Platform

Stream Technologies, a global leader in connectivity solutions for the Internet of Things, announces today that its IoT-X platform now supports all LoRaWAN™ compliant gateways.

Stream's IoT-X platform allows customers to monitor, manage and monetise connected device solutions regardless of the technology.

"LoRaWAN™ will form a major part of the Internet of Things and now with IoT-X network operators can provide a solution which meets all connectivity needs of their clients" said Kevin McDowall COO

IoT-X's LoRaWAN™ Network Server, which decodes and routes the data from LoRaWAN™ gateways, now allows customers to leverage the power of IoT-X for any compliant device. Stream have integrated gateways such as Kerlink, LinkLabs, Senet and Multitech in to their network environment.

IoT-X enables network operators to commercialise LPWAN's, as customer segmentation is simple with the inbuilt advanced data routing algorithms. The billing capability can either be the traditional data tariff model for cellular devices, or for LPWAN can simply be based on data usage or number of connections, ensuring that the very low operating cost for these devices is met whilst facilitating simple and easy commercialisation.

Stream demonstrated its IoT-X LoRaWAN together with Microchip and Kerlink at the LoRa 101 workshop as part of the LoRa open house event in Rotterdam.
