Technology transformation is being enabled by NFV and SDN, but we are really facing a real business transformation, from Communications Service Providers to Digital Service Providers. CSPs must open up new revenue streams, putting themselves at the centre of the digital ecosystem, and broker different partners to create and sell new services to their business customers, ones that are tailored to their specific and unique needs. CSPs need to be the innovation engines of the new digital economy.
