The Third Network vision of the MEF builds on CE 2.0 and introduces lifecycle services orchestration.New service capabilities will start now with existing services, improving their time to market. But then this will open up possibilities to innovators, who will look towards the needs of the enterprise. Whereas before these needs drove a three year costly R&D cycle, this will now become a rapid development cycle with solutions that are also applicable to other enterprises. Innovation will be driven by enterprise needs, but facilitated by an agile platform - which is the Third Network.
