MobiledgeX is the Deutsche Telekom backed start-up that is focused on developing and testing new use cases for the network edge. The company is building a new ecosystem of developers and vendors, creating a marketplace of edge resources and services. It now has 13 top-tier operators and 30 developer applications involved in use case trials. The company recently published more than three years of proprietary Edge Computing use case research, making it freely available, in order to help stimulate the growth of the network edge and prepare the ground for commercial services.
