World Wide Technology India Named Cisco Gold Partner

Nov 5, 2020

SINGAPORE – November 5, 2020 – World Wide Technology (WWT) today announced that it has been awarded the Gold Partner status by Cisco in India for the first time. Awarded to channel partners who rise to business challenges, the Cisco Gold Partner status acknowledges superior business practices and rewards best-in-class methodologies.

Areas of consideration include innovative processes, architecture-led successes, strategic business outcome focused programs, seizing new opportunities, and sales approaches. As a result, WWT India will now have access to the highest level of Cisco channel incentives which includes enhanced technical support, productivity tools and training materials.

“Cisco is incredibly proud to see WWT awarded the status of Gold Partner. The Cisco Gold Partner accreditation is a testament to the WWT’s commitment to delivering excellence, and their expertise and experience across a wide range of Cisco technologies. We want to congratulate the WWT team, and express our gratitude for their continued partnership,” said Sameer Garde, President, Cisco India and SAARC.

“We opened our second Asia Integration Centre in Mumbai just last year to serve a growing client base in the region. Receiving the Gold Partner status from Cisco is a huge win for our India team, and demonstrative of our deep bench of knowledge, expertise and resources across multiple Cisco technologies,” said Jason Brouwers, Head of Asia Pacific, Japan and China, WWT. “India’s digital transformation journey has been astonishing, and we will continue to identify new ways to grow our Cisco business in the region and beyond by improving customer experience through our technology offerings and managed services. This recognition is a significant milestone for WWT in our 25 years journey with Cisco and we look forward to deepening our working relationship.”

WWT opened its Asia Integration Centre in Mumbai in September 2019. Located 40 kilometers northeast of Mumbai, the 10,000-square-foot facility is WWT's fourth Global Integration Centre and second in the Asia-Pacific region. AIC-Mumbai combines the latest technology in data analytics, multicloud, storage, networking and the Internet of Things and allows customers to build and manage IT infrastructures easily and effectively without risk. This is the second Asia Integration Centre after Singapore.
