World Wide Technology Among First Technology Solutions Providers to Offer Professional Services in AWS Marketplace

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--World Wide Technology, a market-leading $12 billion technology provider, today announced its consulting and integration solutions for Amazon Web Services (AWS) are now available in AWS Marketplace.

The move arrives as AWS announced that Professional Services are now available in AWS Marketplace today, helping customers accelerate procurement cycles through a curated digital catalog of software, data and services that make it easy to find, test, buy and deploy software and data products that run on AWS.

As a participant in the launch, WWT is one of the first AWS Advanced Consulting Partners to provide professional services in AWS Marketplace. WWT’s participation gives enterprise customers a seamless solution for locating and contracting WWT’s professional services, alongside leading cloud software products in a single, digital procurement experience. The centralized location also provides a simplified way to manage billing and contract terms of software and related services purchases.

“As organizations work to rapidly provision their software on AWS, they need flexible, more agile frameworks for decreasing time to market, while reducing deployment risks across on-premise and public clouds,” said Joe Weber, director, cloud architecture and engineering for WWT. “WWT’s support of Professional Services in AWS Marketplace gives our customers a convenient solution for accessing thousands of cloud software solutions with our consulting and integration services from one centralized location in AWS Marketplace.”

As organizations migrate to the cloud, they increasingly want to use their preferred software solutions and consulting providers on AWS, particularly as they take advantage of new infrastructure-as-code solutions to accelerate applications and code releases with fewer errors and reduced risk.

WWT’s participation in the launch of Professional Services in AWS Marketplace gives WWT customers access to integration capabilities for solutions like Terraform Enterprise Quickstart by HashiCorp, which helps automate the infrastructure provisioning, security and networking. Customers can also preview, test and validate AWS and HashiCorp solutions with their existing IT infrastructure through WWT’s Advanced Technology Center (ATC), a one-of-a-kind lab facility equipped with roughly $500 million in hardware and software.
