Totogi's charging platform selected to manage 30 mobile brands and nearly one million subscribers

Africa-based MVNE chooses multi-tenant Charging-as-a-Service on AWS to accelerate multi-brand growth

Austin, TX – January 6, 2025 – Totogi today announced that an Africa-based MVNE operating 30 mobile brands with nearly one million subscribers has selected Totogi Charging-as-a-Service to run its entire multi-brand portfolio on a single cloud-native charging platform.

The operator manages prepaid, eSIM, broadband, and value-added mobile services supporting multiple consumer and enterprise brands from a unified MVNE infrastructure. The company selected Totogi’s pay-as-you-grow, price-per-transaction model to achieve cost control, elastic scale, and the ability to manage multiple brands from a single multi-tenant charging solution.

Totogi’s multi-tenant architecture gives the MVNE a new operational model: each MVNO brand gets its own isolated tenant with full control over plan creation, pricing, and promotions—without requiring MVNE intervention for every change. Brand operators can design and launch offers independently while the MVNE maintains platform-wide visibility and governance. This self-service model eliminates the back-and-forth that typically slows MVNO operations.

“Running multiple brands on one charging platform is the kind of operational complexity that would paralyze a legacy charging deployment,” said Danielle Rios, CEO of Totogi. “With Charging-as-a-Service on AWS, this MVNE gets elastic scale, instant pricing changes, and the ability to spin up new MVNOs, each with its own separate tenant, without spinning up new infrastructure. Each MVNO controls its own offers; the MVNE manages the platform. This is what modern charging looks like: one platform, 30 brands, a million subscribers, zero change requests.”

Deployment is underway, with full deployment expected in early 2026.
