  • HPE’s GreenLake brings cloud-like benefits but on the premises, helping balance cost, capacity and time
  • There was a rush to the cloud a few years back but today’s public cloud costs aren’t as attractive as they used to be
  • For some customers, especially in the financial sector, no data goes to the public cloud at all for security reasons

Peter Shipman, GreenLake Utility Delivery Manager, Hewlett Packard Enterprise

Customers that are used to typical CapEx models worry about running out of capacity and long procurement cycles. There is a constant struggle to balance cost, capacity and time. HPE works closely with its customers to ensure they always have capacity ahead of demand but avoid overspending.

HPE’s metering and consumption analytics portal helps them understand their business better, plan for the future and give them a high level of trust thanks to HPE’s cost transparency. As showback and chargeback are increasingly becoming more important to customers, HPE GreenLake is seen as a best of both worlds solution with cloud-like benefits on-premises.
