Nokia Networks boosts coverage and speed of Vinaphone network

  • Significantly enhances Vinaphone's network coverage and doubles peak download speeds to 42 Mbps

Hanoi, Vietnam - 19 November 2015

VNPT - Net, a state-owned operator and subsidiary of the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), has contracted Nokia Networks to provide and roll out its 3G network. Under the contract, the company delivered its Single RAN radio access network, core network elements, partner products and services expertise to bolster VNPT - Net's infrastructure serving Vinaphone 3G services.

Nghiem Phu Hoan, General Director of VNPT - Net Cooporation, said:
