Mauro Costa

Director of Network and Cloud Design and Architecture, Telia Company

Biography 

Mauro is currently Director of Network and Cloud Design and Architecture in Telia Company Group Technology Organisation. Mauro started his career in telecom manufacturing, where he had senior roles in HW and SW development in Italtel, Siemens and Lucent/Bell Labs. Mauro moved to the Service Provider Industry where he spent the last 20 years driving technology network organizations in architecting, engineering and deploying solutions. He joined Omnitel in the challenging Italian growing mobile market, moved to Vodafone where he spend 15 years before joining Telia Company in Stockholm. In its current role in Telia, Mauro is responsible for network technology design across all network domains, including Network Cloud and Software Networks.

Lakshmi Mandyam

VP, Service Provider Product Mgmt & Partner Ecosystem, VMware

Biography 

Lakshmi Mandyam serves as the Vice President of Product Management for the Telco Edge Cloud BU. Prior to VMware, she has held various management positions in the Industry including at Arm where she was the VP of Automotive and the Director of Server Systems and Ecosystems where she led ARM’s initiatives on Servers and Networking infrastructure. Prior to ARM, Lakshmi worked in engineering, marketing, and management roles at various companies, including Freescale Semiconductor and ColdWatt, building technology for enterprise applications. She has a BSEE from the University of Texas at Austin.
