Joe Barkai, Consultant and Author

The author of the "The Outcome Economy & the Internet of Things" believes that the principle of IoT is to focus on customer outcomes. Too many products try and address a broad market. No matter how hard we try, we never really know what the customer wants. And if we think we do (after copious surveys and research), then doubtless the market will have changed and evolved and we have to start over again. There needs to be more agility to adapt and change quickly to meet evolving market requirements from well-defined market segments.
