Espoo, Finland – Nokia Managed Services has been named a leader for the fourth consecutive time in GlobalData’s industry ranking that highlights the strength of Nokia’s cloud technology and services, efficiency and expertise, and service agility. “Nokia’s managed security services for communication service providers lead the class. Its network operations services have often been earlier than its peers in rationalizing contracts, driving efficiencies through AI and quality methodologies, and experimenting with applying webscale models to carrier operations,” according to the report.

GlobalData also called out Nokia retaining its leadership in private wireless, with a quarter of its managed networks in large-scale enterprise implementations like factories, ports, mines and campuses. The analysts noted that this experience will stand Nokia in good stead as more carriers implement 5G standalone and serve increasing numbers of enterprise use cases.

With customers in 55 countries, Nokia Managed Services supports many customers’ multi-vendor end-to-end network operations and supports more than 1 billion subscribers globally. Nokia Managed Services helps customers address the growing complexity associated with the emergence of multi-cloud environments, new 5G enterprise use cases, and automation needs driven by 5G standalone networks and network slicing.
