Phil Kendall, Director of Global Wireless Practise, Strategy Analytics

The business case for carrier wi-fi has been built on the cost issue, but the reality for many operators is that data revenues are falling whilst they are starting to introduce wi-fi. With up to 85 per cent of roaming data traffic being routed over wi-fi, mobile service providers are keen to reclaim this value.
