Farid Feisullin , CTO at Sprint, tells Martyn Warwick that NFV is essential. It's now too expensive to run a network built in silos, he says, as costs continue to escalate while revenue is flattening. "We need new solutions to drive costs down while we work our way up the value chain." If we do it right, says Farid, we'll be able to create more services in less time using third party sources that can't even get into our network today.
