SFR CEO: Mobile pricing nears danger level; but goes ahead with price cuts

The new plans will see SFR, France's No. 2 operator, reduce the majority of its monthly subscriptions by €10, according to La Tribune. This announcement came shortly after Roussel warned that mobile prices in France "have fallen too low" and were in danger of triggering further job cuts and lower investment levels. Iliad's Free Mobile shook up the industry last year with its low-cost plans and charges €19.99 per month for unlimited voice, messaging and 3 GB of data.
