Telekom Austria builds completely virtualised VoLTE network in Serbia

Austria Group had been doing NFV trials, Gunther tells Martyn Warwick, explaining that they did one last year in Serbia on a virtual IMS using Metaswitch's Project Clearwater. That worked so Telekom Austria Group went on to do a full virtualized stack to support their voice over LTE traffic.
"We managed to get the whole thing up and running in just a few weeks," said Metaswitch's Martin Taylor.
