It’s heartening to see the significant momentum behind NFV on display at MWC, John tells Martyn Warwick. There’s PoCs, news of deployments and buzz, but his big takeaway number 2 is the obvious acceptance of multi-vendor, open source solutions on display on stands around the show. Next stop? Orchestration. This is going to be crucial if network operators are to get the most out of the new technology.
