Alcatel-Lucent: advice of the “Haut Comité de Gouvernement d’entreprise”

Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) confirms that the company's Board of Directors has received the advice of the Haut Comité de Gouvernement d'entreprise (the national committee for corporate governance). The Board of Directors will examine this advice carefully and will meet in due course to make a decision based on the advice, the interests of the company and its French and international stakeholders. Alcatel-Lucent remains dedicated to the implementation of its transformation plan, and preparation for the proposed integration with Nokia, to create a new European telecommunications champion.
