Apple changed the mobile business forever. In my opinion, we’ve had two major revolutions in the cellular industry. The first was GSM - the move to a digital technology that was standardised, first within Europe, then globally, and which led to successive developments that continue to this day with 5G. The second was the iPhone – the Impossible Phone. And yet Apple has never, ever bought a booth at Mobile World Congress!
