STC launches their own Board to empower women and reinforce female participation in the business

Driven by its core belief in the importance of investing in their employees and giving them the best opportunities to develop their skills and capacities, Eng. Nasser Bin Sulaiman Al-Nasser, CEO of STC Group, announced the launch of the first board to empower women and enhance their participation in the business market.

During the Make An Impact forum organized by the Diversity and Inclusion Department, in the presence of HRH Princess Haifa bint Mohammed Al Saud, Vice President of Strategy at the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, Al-Nasser pointed out that this step comes in line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, and STC commitment to the national transformation program, which aims to enable the community categories to get into the market, making it more of a trend thus increasing Saudi women economic participation.

During the forum, which was attended by a number of vice presidents and more than 500 of STC and sister companies employees, Al-Nasser stated that the board, with Al-Nasser as its chairman, shall be an internal reference for all matters related to the company's female employees, support and empowerment in various fields, especially in leading positions. The board shall achieve this by adopting Efficiency as a work criteria. In addition to encouraging women's work which will contribute to the economic success of the Kingdom through a variety of administrative and technical programs.

STC Group CEO added that the board will provide possible means to support female labor in the company, by seeking ways to improve female employees experience in business environments and increase job satisfaction rates.
