KPN is integrating all its security services to form the security company of the Netherlands: KPN Security

Via KPN

Apr 12, 2019

KPN has amalgamated its security organizations under the name of KPN Security. These include not only KPN Security Services but also the security services of DearBytes and QSight IT, which were acquired in 2017. With its complete package of security solutions KPN Security is unique, and one of the biggest players on the Dutch IT security market. And KPN Security is a 100% Dutch service provider. All kinds of organizations in the world of industry and government can get the best possible security for their data, network and IT systems from KPN Security.

“Digitization has benefited our society, our economy, our businesses and of course consumers as well,” says Marieke Snoep, Chief Business Market. “At the same time, everyone wants to be able to have confidence in the security of systems and to trust that companies and government are keeping data secure. KPN Security can offer a full range of security services and knows better than anyone what different organizations need to ensure the security of their digital transactions. So the IT service that KPN offers its corporate customers integrates security services, workplace services and cloud solutions.”

“We have in-depth understanding of security solutions and have the capacity and experience at our disposal to carry out big projects,” says Martijn Hakstege, EVP KPN Security. “By combining our strengths with many years of experience in the market we can claim to be the top specialist in IT security. Additionally, we are the market leader in the field of Digital Identity and are strong in business consultancy. We understand our customers’ business and can translate that knowledge into the right security solutions. From today, we are offering all of this under the name of KPN Security.”

KPN Security will serve the entire breadth of the corporate market, covering small and medium-sized businesses, large companies and the government. For small businesses KPN Security offers mainly off-the-shelf security services: simple, effective and affordable. Medium-sized companies that want to outsource their security can come to KPN Security for managed security services, from protection and detection to response and prevention. Security solutions for large companies and the government are offered by KPN as part of an integrated package of services.

KPN Security also has a specific division devoted to security innovation, applying advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning. Moreover, in providing its services KPN Security makes use of the experience and knowledge gained by KPN from the security measures it employs for its own networks.
