Martyn Warwick reports from the fourth meeting of ETSI's Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) Indudstry Specification Group (ISG), in California to find the participants in buoyant mood. It's agreed that ETSI has succeeded beyond expectations in mobilizing vendors to get behind NFV and push hard to develop a framework. As a result the group has achieved a great deal in a short space of time.
