NFV appears to come out of nowhere – but Lloyd Mayhew, Worldwide Business Development Manager, HP, speaking with TelecomTV’s Martyn Warwick at the 4th ETSI meeting of the Industry Specification Group for NFV, points out that there was a great deal of development and PoC work that led to the recent emergence of the technology onto the main stage.
