ZTE Becomes One of the First Group of Partners in China Mobile Open NFV Test Lab

China Mobile Open NFV Test Lab to drive global adoption and commercialization of NFV technology

 

16 July 2015, Shanghai, China – ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, is pleased to be selected as one of the first group of partners in China Mobile's Open NFV Test lab, aiming at driving the global adoption and commercialization of NFV (network function virtualization) technology.

 

The China Mobile Open NFV Test Lab, run by China Mobile Research Institute, announced ZTE as one of the first group of partners today on the NFV workshop and China Mobile Open NFV Test Lab Signing Ceremony at the Mobile World Congress Shanghai conference. Partners of the China Mobile Open NFV Test Lab include integration vendors, IT software vendors and equipment vendors..

 

"ZTE is delighted to participate in the China Mobile Open NFV Test Lab, which will make a major contribution to the global adoption of SDN and NFV technologies," said Lv Abin, Vice President of ZTE. "ZTE is committed to innovations in SDN and NFV solutions and values opportunities to deepen our collaboration with other leading developers and providers of the technologies."

 

ZTE is strengthening its capabilities in SDN and NFV technologies, which are key areas of strategic focus for the company. With projects including the virtualized core network, ZTE is increasing investments in research and development of NFV infrastructure and virtual data centers (VDC) to help customers deploy these key technologies.
