Vodafone publishes 2015 update to Law Enforcement Disclosure Report

Vodafone Group today published the 2015 update to its law enforcement disclosure report which provides a detailed insight into the legal frameworks, governance principles and operating procedures associated with demands for assistance from law enforcement and intelligence agencies across 28 countries.

The 2015 update includes a new section addressing network censorship, content blocking and restrictions on freedom of expression as well as an updated country-by-country section with statistics on the number of lawful interception and/or communications demands received between 1 April 2014 and 31 March 2015. However, most of the content of the report is broadly in line with the 2014 edition. The legal annexe, which summarises the most important legal powers in force in our 28 countries of operation, was updated separately in February 2015.
