Telenor supports entrepreneurs in Serbia, launches specialized portal

Telenor supports entrepreneurs in Serbia with a one-stop-shop portal encompassing all useful information for those starting up or managing a small or medium-sized enterprise.

The first platform for entrepreneurs www.mojafirma.rs includes a bunch of useful information for all who want to start and develop a business in Serbia: from how to register a company, taxation, accounting, and legal rules, to marketing. In one place it is possible to download the most relevant forms, templates, cost calculators, but also to get some inspiration. The helpful contents at www.mojafirma.rs are complemented by interviews with successful entrepreneurs sharing their stories and what it took to get where they are now.

Telenor powered portal for entrepreneurs is one of a kind in Serbia and according to first results, much needed among Serbian businessmen. More than 40,000 people visited the mojafirma.rs website within the first ten days, which is an outstanding number compared to an average in Serbia. Half of the visits came from mobile phones.

“There was a need for a comprehensive knowledge base relevant to small and medium business, many of them being our customers. We created a website that they can visit regularly and always get up-to-date information,” stated Ivan Krstic, Business Communication Expert and project manager.

More power for the driving force of Serbian economy

Small and medium businesses are the driving force of any economy. In Serbia specifically this sector makes high percentage of all businesses and there is an excellent potential for nourishing many successful local entrepreneurs.

“Being an entrepreneur, not only in Serbia but anywhere in the world, is not an easy task. By supporting the development of healthy companies, which further develop innovative products we are initiating a chain-reaction – leading to creation of new jobs and overall positive effects on the development of the local economy” said Zoran Stanisic, SoHo Segment Manager.

The platform is developed by Telenor Serbia in collaboration with 15 consultants and experts from different areas of business. It is managed and maintained by a team of experts who are also authors of the available content.
