NTT Communications' Multi-Cloud Connect to extend connection to cloud platforms in the UK

TOKYO, Japan —June 16th, 2016 — NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the ICT solutions and international communications business within NTT (NYSE: NTT), announced the launch of Multi-Cloud Connect in London, which directly connects to cloud platforms in the UK region. With Multi-Cloud Connect, enterprise that have offices in Europe can enjoy access to different cloud services with a stable and secure connection.

Multi-Cloud Connect enables customers of Arcstar Universal One – NTT Com's MPLS network service – to easily build a multi cloud environment. Instead of an internet connection, enterprises can connect to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Dynamics CRM Online as well as NTT Com's private cloud service through a highly secure MPLS VPN. Following its launch in Tokyo and London, Multi-Cloud Connect will expand the connection to North America, Singapore and other Asian markets throughout 2016.

3. Multi-Cloud Connect Service Highlights

(1) Security and Performance

Multi-Cloud Connect currently connects to third party cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, as well as to NTT Com's cloud services via a security-enhanced, private Layer 3 connection, not via the internet.

(2) Multi-cloud solution

Multi-Cloud Connect allows enterprises to easily meet the needs of different applications, by enabling hybrid cloud environment: such as a mix of public cloud and private cloud, or on-premises, private cloud (Enterprise Cloud) and/or public cloud.

(3) Global reach

After its launch in Tokyo and London, Multi-Cloud Connect will continue to expand globally to other parts of North America and Asia.
