The digital services platform is a combination of the AppAgile and ApiOmat solutions. AppAgile is a PaaS solution that provides IT developers with a technical development environment, whereas ApiOmat serves as a BaaS (Backend as a Service) solution which supports software developers in transforming digital processes end-to-end into the form of mobile apps and websites. The platform scales automatically and is run in a German data center in compliance with strict security and data privacy regulations.

The digitization of business processes – or even complete business models – involves a transition to digital services so that enterprises can react to dynamic markets quickly, with high levels of flexibility and security.

Denis Loh, software architect for mobile apps at T Systems MMS, explains: "The trend is moving in the direction of 'mobile first.'
