Chip Shot: Intel® Parallel Studio 2016 Modernizes Code for Performance and Big Data Analysis

Intel today launched Intel® Parallel Studio XE 2016, the next iteration of the leading developer toolkit for high performance computing (HPC) and technical computing applications targeting Intel® architecture, including support for the latest Intel® Xeon® and Intel® Xeon Phi™ processors. This release introduces the Intel® Data Analytics Acceleration Library, which turns big data into meaningful information with advanced analytics algorithms supporting all stages of data analysis. Additional new capabilities include a Vectorization Advisor to assist developers in achieving vectorization more quickly, and the MPI Performance Snapshot to help tune analysis of message passing interface communication activity up to 32K ranks.
