Brocade network helps DLT solutions accelerate its growth trajectory

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - Jun 23, 2016) - Brocade (NASDAQ: BRCD) today announced that DLT Solutions, a leading technology partner to the public sector, has selected New IP networking technologies from Brocade to help scale its network and support the growth of the company.

The new Brocade-powered network delivers and secures DLT Solutions' mission-critical applications, including customer relationship management and financial systems. The network also provides DLT Solutions with an infrastructure that can easily adapt to the dynamic growth of its five business divisions.

"As a market leader in such high-demand areas as cloud and cyber solutions, there are significant demands on our infrastructure," said Ron Tucker, vice president, information technology, DLT Solutions. "We are continually reviewing our IT capabilities to ensure we can most effectively support the company's growth. Through this review process, we realized it was time to replace the existing, disparate network with a more robust, enterprise-class infrastructure to support our server virtualization and storage expansion efforts. We knew we needed to upgrade our network, and our analyses pointed us toward Brocade for its agile, software-focused technology, and for its cost-effective, easy-to-manage architecture."

DLT Solutions' New IP network is comprised of Brocade® campus and data center switches and the Brocade vRouter--all of which work together to meet the demands of DLT Solutions' multivendor, virtualized cloud environment.

"DLT is familiar with various solutions available in the market today," said Pete Peterson, vice president of global channel sales, Brocade. "With Brocade, DLT Solutions now has a future-proof, New IP data center network: it is user-centric, software-enabled, and it supports their internal stakeholders as they continue to serve their ever-increasing public sector customer base."
